Basic maintenance is required to ensure the effective operation of your system. Knight-Scapes has a highly-trained, experienced, detail-oriented team of service technicians. We maintain all of our systems with highest standard of service.

The most important services are the Fall Winterization and Spring Start-Up:

• In the fall, we will shut down your system and blow out waterlines in order to eliminate the risk of freezing pipes.
• In the spring, we turn the system back on, evaluate each zone, adjust sprinkler heads, and reset the controller for optimal use.

During spring, we recommend our Spring Start-Up service to get your sprinkler system up and running properly for the season when it is most taxed. Winter frost heaving, snowfall, snow removal, and various other winter conditions can all take a serious toll on adjustments and functionality of your irrigation system. Our Spring Start-Up service inspects for any the unfavorable results that harsh winter weather conditions may leave behind.

Furthermore, from year-to-year your landscape changes, shrubs and trees grow and sometimes landscape is redesigned and changes. At the time of Spring Start-Up, we review the design of your current irrigation system in order to recommend enhancements that will ensure your irrigation system efficiently meets the needs of your lawn and plants. From simple sprinkler head changes, to complicated additions of entire zones, our highly-skilled technicians will work with you to optimize turf and plant coverage.

Throughout the fall, your irrigation system will require winterization in order to avoid damages caused by freezing temperatures. By taking the necessary steps for protecting the irrigation system in autumn, you can avoid major costly repairs in the springtime.
